Spend time with our Miniature Herefords, Highlands and their rather opinionated friends on our small family farm near Holmfirth. Our experiences are deliberately small, hands-on and unhurried, giving you time to meet the cows, learn their personalities, brush them, take photographs and depending on the experience and what the cows have in mind that day, get involved with some of their training too.
Our new purpose-built Tiny Cow experience barn opens on 5 July 2027.

BEFORE 5 July 2027
Before the smart visitor barn, coffee machine and proper reception area arrive, there's the farm as it really is. A little muddier. A little colder. Quite possibly considerably more Yorkshire. Our Tiny Cow Preview Experiences are a limited opportunity to come behind the scenes while we're still building Tiny Cows Yorkshire. You'll meet the same wonderful cattle and spend proper time with them, but these visits take place on our live working farm rather than in a purpose-built visitor environment.
That means uneven ground, farm buildings, winter weather, machinery in the distance and a very real possibility of muddy boots. In return, we're keeping the groups exceptionally small and offering the experiences at a special preview price.
You'll also be amongst the first people ever to experience Tiny Cows Yorkshire.
Tiny Cow Preview: Meet the Herd

Come behind the scenes and get properly acquainted with some of our friendliest cattle.
Brush them, stroke them, take photographs, learn their personalities and meet the wider Tiny Cows herd — from Miniature Herefords and Highlands to Rocky, our fully grown miniature bull.
Best for: anyone wanting plenty of cow time without the training element.
Tiny Cow Preview: Hands-On Tiny Cows

90–120 minutes · Maximum 6 guests · Ages 16+
Everything in our Meet the Herd preview, with more time and more hands-on with our young cattle.
You'll meet some of the cows currently learning to wear and work in a halter and, where their training, the weather and your confidence allow, you may even help us with a little of that training.
Best for: serious cow lovers who want to do more than simply meet them.

Welcome to Tiny Cows Yorkshire.
From 5th July, our experiences move into their permanent home.
The new Tiny Cow barn has been designed around both sides of the experience: the people and the cows. You'll begin in our dedicated visitor space, where we'll introduce Tiny Cows Yorkshire, explain a little about the farm and get you ready to meet the herd.
Next door is where the interesting bit lives. Our purpose-designed cattle area gives us space to bring selected cows out calmly for grooming, interaction and training while allowing you to see how the wider herd lives.
Once you've finished with the cows and washed your hands thoroughly, we'll head back into the visitor space for tea or coffee, questions and a browse around our little Tiny Cow shop.
Same farm. Same cows. Just slightly less chance of losing a welly.
